Just like with any exercise routine, you’ve gotta switch up your healthy eating to keep it interesting! Cue healthy food blogs!
While I love vegetables and other whole, natural foods, I can only do the same salad or sheet pan dinner for so long!
Luckily, the days of having to purchase a whole new cookbook are behind us. Now with only a few clicks, we can find fresh, nutritious recipes anytime!
The only problem is that it’s often hard to differentiate between the healthy recipes and the unhealthy ones. As I mentioned in a recent blog post, there’s a lot of misinformation out there. A lot of “healthy” recipes simply are not good for you.
If you know anything about me, it’s that I’m a health food nut. I love finding nutritious recipes that actually taste good!
So today’s post is a list of all my favorite healthy recipe blogs (with a specific focus on finding healthy dinner recipes)! These are the websites I go to when I need new, healthy meal ideas that without-a-doubt will taste good. The bloggers I’m going to mention are the real deal!
Are you ready?? I know I am! Let’s make some tasty, wholesome dinner recipes!
The Top Healthy Food Blogs for Delicious Dinner Recipes
1. Pinch of Yum
Pinch of Yum is one of those blogs that I realized I pin from ALL. THE. TIME. The recipes look absolutely amazing, and they taste delicious too. Now Lindsey at Pinch of Yum admits that her recipes are “mostly” healthy – but while she has a few more indulgent recipes, I’d agree that most of them are pretty darn clean.
She also has filters in place for things like “lightened up” recipes and also sugar free ones! Take a peek and try them out!
The Fit Cookie shares a ton of intolerance-friendly recipes. Created by a mom of kids with food allergies, she gets the importance of making healthy, allergy-conscious meals that still taste wonderful.
You can’t go wrong with recipes from The Fit Cookie blog!
3. Oh She Glows
This blog has been a favorite of mine for awhile. Oh She Glows features plant-based, healthy recipes you can feel good about eating. With several very popular cookbooks, you know that you’ll be making top-notch recipes.
When it comes to healthy and delicious cooking, Oh She Glows is the best of the best!
This is a newer blog to me, but one I can’t believe I haven’t stumbled across earlier! Love and Lemons is an exquisitely laid out blog with mostly vegetarian recipes.
I love that you can search recipes based on season, making it easier to eat fresh ingredients all year round. Their cookbook is also very highly acclaimed, recommended by publications such as The New York Times and Bon Appetit Magazine!
Cookie and Kate is another I can’t believe I didn’t know about sooner. Kate’s food blog contains entirely vegetarian recipes that look absolutely delicious. (Plus I’ve made a few and know that they actually are delicious!).
If you’re feeling stumped about what to make for dinner, Cookie and Kate is the place to look!
I’ve talked about Pick Up Limes before in my Health and Wellness YouTube Channel post, but I absolutely have to mention the blog here as well. Sadia Badiei is an extremely passionate and talented Registered Dietitian and vegan cook. Every single recipe I’ve tried from her blog has been phenomenal!
Pick Up Limes should be a go-to blog for anyone looking to build healthier eating habits.
Fit Mitten Kitchen is one of the main reasons I chose not to include my favorite recipes from each of these healthy food blogs – because there are so many amazing recipes I can’t possibly choose!
One of my favorite things about this blog is the layout; it’s extremely easy to find recipes according to dietary restrictions and even method of cooking. All the filters make it simple to locate exactly what kind of recipe you’re looking for.
Simply Quinoa also has helpful recipe filters, even including things like 5 ingredient meals and 30 minute meals – my kind of cooking!
Not only do the recipes look delicious, they’re designed with simplicity in mind (as the name would suggest!). Gotta love healthy AND easy meals!
Gimme Some Oven is a blog after my own heart. Ali focuses primarily on recipes that are vegetarian and healthy, but posts a decadent recipe every once in a while. It’s all about the moderation!
What you’ll be sure to find is a blog with easy to navigate filters and absolutely amazing recipes. You’ve gotta check it out!
10. Grateful Grazer
Steph over at the Grateful Grazer is a dietitian with a love for sharing tasty, nutritious recipes. Her recipe photos are gorgeous, and I’m convinced I’d like every single one of her recipes. Don’t believe me? You have to check them out!
Last is certainly not least here. Hop over to the Grateful Grazer right now for tonight’s dinner inspo!
Thanks so much for reading! I hope you’ve found a few new favorite healthy food blogs. Now you’ll never run out of healthy dinner ideas!
