“Less is more” applies to a lot of things: rich desserts, social drinking, our friends, etc.
And believe it or not, less is more when it comes to weight training too.
Don’t get me wrong; bodybuilders have to spend hours in the gym performing tons of different weighted exercises. But if you’re just trying to put on a little muscle and get healthy, their technique probably isn’t for you.
“20 Stairmasters are great, but if 10 of them are out-of-order and 5 others make a loud squeaky sound the entire time you’re on it – well then you’re down to 5 and a half hour wait for one to be free.”
It’s so ironic to me that I planned to share this post today, and yesterday I discovered that a gym near my home was converted into my ALL-TIME FAVORITE gym chain.
And now I may potentially get a membership again. Because this gym chain rocks. And I can’t help it.
So what makes me feel so devoted to this gym “brand”? Particularly a newly opened location?
“Easy peasy, and it’s a gift that keeps on giving all year long!”
Christmas time is most definitely here! This past weekend I was going past an outlet mall that had lines of cars waiting just to enter the parking lot.
Pure madness.
It’s getting down to the wire. That’s why – whenever I can – I prefer to online shop. Way less physical hassle and way less waiting time.
Now, I’m a perfectionist shopper. I want to find THE PERFECT gift for my friends and family. If you’re anything like me, you spend lots of time scrolling through websites in pursuit of a present that you know the receiver will love. So I’ve decided to make an ultimate holiday gift guide (health and wellness edition) for others to use, in the hopes they’ll be able to find those “perfect” gifts for their loved ones (and save a little shopping time).
