Today we’re talking about how to lose excess weight in one particularly annoying place: your belly.
Or are we? Stick with me here as I reveal the secrets no one’s ever told you about how to lose belly fat.
First things first: losing belly fat isn’t exactly easy. If you’re prone to storing fat there, it will take dedication and discipline. But it is possible.
“There is something out there that you’ll like and make money doing.“
It’s getting late on Sunday night. You keep looking at the clock. 8:00…8:30…9:00…you should probably get ready for bed soon. But the sooner you go to bed, the sooner you have to get up. And that means going to work. At a job you hate. The thought completely depresses you.
Not all of us have the ability to get out of a job we don’t like. We got into it for various well-intentioned reasons, whether helping people, following our major, flexible hours, the paycheck, the benefits, etc. But sometimes the day-to-day surprises us: extreme stress, excess paperwork, restricting rules/regulations, tough bosses, and unkind coworkers (fortunately, I’ve been very lucky in the coworker department). And many of us can’t leave due to finances or contracts. If, for whatever reason, you find yourself struggling to get out of the door every day, here are my tips – from someone who’s been there!
“It’s not been easy to find a healthy one of these, but after scouring the stores I finally did find it!”
Today I’m deviating from my normal stance of eating only whole foods. Okay, well I never said to eat only whole foods. That would be highly impractical and virtually impossible for all of us to put into practice.
While I still stand behind the idea that eating natural, unprocessed foods is one of the healthiest things we can do for our bodies, I get that we can’t do that all the time. We have appointments to make, meetings to attend, and other responsibilities that pull us away from the kitchen. To expect everyone to make all their food from scratch all the time is ridiculous.
So I’ve been on a mission to find healthy, store-bought sauces that I feel I can stand behind.
