10 Healthy Winter Cocktails
Wooo, it’s winter time and that means I get to share some healthy winter cocktails! Party timeee!
I’m going to be quite frank with you – it’s NOT easy to find healthy winter cocktails. And I mean actually healthy winter cocktails.
So many claim to be, but the ingredients tell a whole different story.
That’s because they either contain a super sugary syrup, lots of juice, or a mixer like Kahlua, which has a whopping 33g of sugar and 214 calories per 2.5 oz (13g sugar and 87 calories per 1 oz). Looking at an individual ounce, it may not seem so bad. But considering most recipes either called for more AND included an additional sugary mixer…YIKES.
So enough of the scary stuff. If you’re here, you know that it’s good to minimize sugar and calories in your drinks. While yes, alcohol in itself is not the healthiest ingredient, there are times when you want to relax and have a fun cocktail – I’m all for that!
I’ve taken the searching upon myself and found some healthy winter cocktails that also look and taste delicious.
These 10 recipes made the cut.
10 Delicious Healthy Winter Cocktails
1. Cinnamon Pear Mimosas
This healthy winter cocktail is a fun twist on the traditional mimosa. Make sure you get pear juice with no added sugar – or make your own at home!

2. La Croix Cranberry Vodka
Using La Croix as a mixer is probably the best way to keep your drink healthy. Try out this low sugar holiday cocktail!

3. Winter Spiced Moscow Mule
Another one with cranberry at the forefront! This healthy take on the Moscow Mule features ginger kombucha and a squeeze of fresh orange for sweetness.

4. Blood Orange and Bourbon
This winter cocktail features the blood orange, with the flavor and sweetness primarily coming from fresh oranges. And I mean, will you look at that color??

5. St. Germain Spritzers
Here’s to all my bubbly-loving friends. This spritzer contains St. Germain elderflower liqueur and just a little bit of pomegranate juice. It would be a great healthy holiday drink for Christmas or New Years

6. Christmas Snowstorm Margarita
For those of you feeling adventurous, this is the healthy winter cocktail for you. With a mix of coconut, citrus flavors, and a dose of tequila, you may not know whether you’re in the middle of a snowstorm or on a beach in Mexico.

7. Cranberry Red Wine Punch
I wanted to include this one because it’s a simple way to spice up a glass of wine and feel festive. It uses diet cranberry juice to make it sweet, and honestly that’s a great way to go. Just like using La Croix, these low sugar mixers are the perfect healthy way to add flavor.

8. “Light” White Russian
Since White Russian’s typically call for Kahlua and heavy cream, you may be surprised to see this one on the list at all. After quite a bit of searching, I found this light version that uses actually coffee instead of Kahlua and soy creamer instead of heavy cream. It has just 4g of sugar!

9. Naughty and Nice Cinnamon Toddy
I’m so happy I stumbled upon Half Baked Harvest one day. Her recipes are out of this world! This healthy hot toddy recipe will give you those cozy “snuggled-up-by-the-fireplace” sorta vibes.

10. Vanilla Chai Old Fashioned
I think this is the most stunning cocktail I’ve ever seen. And if you agree too, it may be time to run out for some star anise and a cinnamon stick. A homemade syrup made from chai teabags, maple syrup, and vanilla extract gives this winter drink it’s tasty flavors, and it comes in at only 87 calories!
